Malaysia's must-go holiday Island

We began our journey to langkawi early in the morning, boarding the Malaysian Airline's subsidary company, Firefly's flight since we have a todler with us it's impossible to take the train or ferry. Well it wasn't so much of a journey, it took us only 30 minutes to get there. XD If you are more towards the adventurous type and love to travel, i would recomend taking the train and ferry otherwise, firefly charges a good rate. :)

Bye bye Penang~~~

Once landed, we rented a car for RM 80 and made our way to Pantai Chenang. We stayed at the Malibest resort for a hundred and twenty per night with two single bed in a room.

There were also treehouses, which i thought was pretty cool but if you're travelling with a toddler, i wouldn't recommend staying in the tree houses in case your little one suddenly feels like spiderman and decides to take a dive. XD

This is the resort. We choosed ours directly facing the sea. It was so relaxing to hear the sound of wave while drinking on the verrandah by sundown.

If you're on budget travelling and in a group, the room is big enough for more than 6 people to sleep in . A s long as the rest of them don't mind sleeping on the floor, it's all good!

The funny thing was, once we got in the room we stareted scrambling about looking for the keys to open the luggagge so that we could get our swimming suits and jump into the water but wait, we couldnt find any. Apparently, my genius aunty who suggested that we buy a humongest luggage and dump everybody's clothes iin there to minimize our loads forgot to bring along the keys. So we had to get a locksmith to break open the lock. Holidayturned Nightmare? Pretty much.

Meanwhile, my uncles and i went for a search of the elixir of life.

TADA!

Look at the happy faces of my uncles XD

CAPTION : "Hmmmmm...... so this is what heaven looks like...."

And it's true what they said, when it come to the duty free land of langkawi, alcohol is cheaper than water. i tried my best to zoom in to the price but sadly my camera wasn't so good. The price tag clearly said, "1.20." So, ditch your mineral water bottle and pick up a JD or a carlsberg XD

And finally, it's time to hit the water !
