POISON

Tuesday, November 2, 2010 1 comments

I dreamt of a man whom face i couldn't see yet i knew who it was. In that dream he forced a pill down my throat and then told me that it was poison and that it would kill in a matter of minutes.
He appologized to me before dissapearing into thin air. I was horrified, and as i picked myself up from the floor i knew i was still alright yet i could feel the poison seeping slowly through my body from the inside. I felt myself dying with every ticking second.
At that moment i knew my only choice was to remove the poison myself, it was the only way for me to survive.
At first i tried coughing it out but the surge of death grew stronger and i was rapidly losing control of my body. So i stuck my fingers down my throat and purged and purged till i felt myself coming to life again.

Be a Voice for the Hungry

1 in every 6 people suffer of hunger and 1.02 billion people are undernourished in this rich, highly technological world we are living in. The number is so great that it is a greater threat to the human health all over the world, even more than hunger AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis put together. Natural disasters, poverty and financial and economic crisis are among the causes of hunger while the children are hauled to become the biggest victim.

Decades of civil strife and widespread poverty have left Columbia with alarmingly high level of child malnutrition.-WFP

Over a third of Colombian children are anemic while some 14 % of children under the age of 5 suffer from stunting-WFP

Christina Arguilera a pop diva, lent her voice to WFP and is now an ambassador against hunger after the January earthquake in Haiti. In August 2009 she made a trip to Guatemala and met mothers who struggled and suffered to keep their children nourished and alive. In May 2010 Christina visited the land that was turned into rubles in an earthquake, Haiti and met up with the children.

In raising public awareness and fund for the children in Haiti, Christina Arguilera a world superstar sang on the street of Los Angeles with nothing but a mike stand and a guitar and a guitar casing opened up in front of her, inside was a sign that said "1$ for hope". Singing her hit single 'Beautiful', it was truly her most humble and sincere live performance yet and watching her do it strummed millions of emotions in me.

If you read this post, i urge everyone of you to lend a helping hand. While you sit at a coffee house or dining house, sipping on your favorite coffee and eating the best food millions on children are suffering from hunger. All it takes is a dollar to give these children hope. Lend your voice for the hungry!

Now it's your turn to give them HOPE.

Plastic Celebrities

Friday, April 16, 2010 3 comments

Breast Augmentation, rhinoplasty, lip augmentation, botox, butt implants, face lifts, eyebrow lifts and liposuction are the most famous plastic surgery procedures done by celebrities everywhere. Of course, breast augmentation is undeniably the best medical discovery for some women, while for some a complete nightmare. This advancement of medicine promotes the desire for perfection, women want big-full breast like Lindsay Lohan or Pamela Anderson (often forgetting how important the "junk in the trunk" is for women), juicy lips like Megan Fox, slim-cinched waist like Janice Dickinson - all these on a skinny little body. With these plastic man-carved celebrities as their role model, no wonder our perception of beauty is distorted.

Let's take a closer look at these Plastics, shall we?

Plastic #1

Lindsay Lohan

This was out cute little 14 year old Lindsay in the movie 'Get A Clue' in 2002. She claimed to be a late bloomer, only developing her breast at the age of 17. No girl, reaches puberty at the age of 14 and grow breast at the age of 17, Lindsay.

At the Premier of Treasure Planet In Hollywood, 17 November 2003, Lindsay transformed from what could possibly be an A to a C. Whoah. All that in a year.

From then on it gets fuller, possibly a full C or a small D?

Now, when Lindsay was battling Eating Disorder and her body started becoming emaciated, her body weight and size started decreasing yet her boobs stayed the same size. Suspicious, no?

Oh, and she even got herself the 'punch-out' lips too. Guess you can help it when it's the in thing.

Plastic #2

Megan Fox

Magen Fox made her debut 2001 film, Holiday in the Sun starring the Olsen Twins (with really really bad acting).

In 2004, she took on the role of Sydney Shanowski in Hope and Faith where she paraded in her bikini in one of the episodes (left). See the subtle but obvius difference between before and after a goob boobjob? Plus, smaller size implants are hard to identify in comparison to their larger counterparts. Nice work, Fox!

From then on, Fox went through a series of transformation, as you can see her brows are lifted hingher to achieve the cat eyes look. However, i don't believe the rumour of her rhynoplasty
surgery though. Her nose looks the same then and now. Her most obvious addition however, is.... yes, you guessed it right. The 'punch-out' lips. And all these beacause............

She's trying to achieve the Angelina Jolie look.

More plastic celebrities to come!

Why education should be in English in Malaysia

KALAOKA. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

My teacher lied to me. I was told there are 7 days in a week. Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. She never told me that SUDAY is the eight.

When english knowledge is lacking, Malaysian turn canibalistic. They start frying the french.

Greating healthier lives. enough said.
